A lot of people said the same about Chip. Both clearly are not HC's. It seems like Day is doing what Saban did...going after NFL coordinators or coaches that need another shot to boost their rep. Probably another one year rental if he excels.

That being said, most Buckeye fans seem to hate this hire but they also wanted Day fired. I was never part of that group and I knew they wouldn’t. It would be drastic measures for them to fire a guy that has a ridiculous win %. On the fence about Patricia, he led those Pats squads to top defensed year in and year out. He was awful as a HC and it seems like a lot of the players didn’t care for him. This is his chance to prove himself again, at one point he was one of the best

The issue is Patricia is not a very personable guy. I can’t remember who it was but he really alienated a very good player in Detroit. Now he has to recruit, we will see.

No they won’t. He has been to two Super Bowls in 3 years and he has a ring now. The Sirianni shit is over. He took the criticism like a man in a tough sports town and climbed the mountain. That adversity around him and the team is what made them champions in the end. Pressure makes diamonds or pressure makes you the Browns. Sirianni is a diamond

He was dog shit in Philly. He back doored the DC and then when the DC was fired and he took over the defense he actually managed to make them worse. He was one of the biggest reasons the Eagles finished last season on a 1-6 run after a 10-1 start.

about how I feel about it. do I love the hire or at least like it as much as bringing in Kelly? Nope. But we will see how it goes.
