It wasn’t early in the year before the injuries started I don’t think. Honestly they should have won it last year but they kind of choked it off.
Yeah blew a 17 point halftime lead. Packers coulda beat the Niners last year too but Love showed that despite solid play most of the time, he still had some greenhorn issues

He is definitely going to win the mvp.
Would be surprising if he didn’t, Barkley had a quiet game yesterday, not sure rushing record is in his reach anymore and that might be the only thing that would give him an edge over Allen and even then might not be enough

Lions gave up on the run far too fast yesterday in the first half. I get going to heavy pass mode down 35-14 in the 3rd but could have still stuck with the game plan in the first half

I feel they do that a bit too often, Gibbs and Montgomery are a pretty good tandem too

Jackson is still in it too, I knew he was having an outstanding season but I didn’t realize it was 35 TD/3 INT good, why do you think it would go to Allen instead? Jackson has a better supporting cast?

They are still a team that if they play their game and get ahead they will be difficult to beat.

Jackson has won it twice and he has too many clunkers. Allen is just hot at the moment.

Without a doubt. They can limit your offensive possessions big time if they get going on the ground and have those long drives

My team got a cakewalk, which is good since we never know which Lamar is showing up. The Giants are an example of a huge league wide problem. They had Barkley, this rookie wr Nabors is the real deal, but they totally ruined their chances paying a bad qb a lot of money. If you dont know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you have a qb then you don’t pay him. Plenty of journeymen to get by with until you find one. Quit being stupid.

They are inept, but it goes far beyond Daniel Jones' contract. The number that the Giants paid (essentially 2 years at $40M per) is not really big money just a few years later, it's around the middle of the league for a starting QB. That should have no impact on keeping your RB; he simply left. Barkley's injury history certainly did not help his case with NY negotiations.

Too many backups and practice squad players on defense has caught up with the Lions against a good team. Hopefully they get healthier soon.

Bills have the same situation at CB/S. 3 starters were out yesterday, and a backup went out midgame too.

Gotta hand it to the Browns...their season has not exactly gone as they expected/hoped...but they're at least saying the right things.

Myles Garrett was interviewed before the game was asked about playing the Chiefs and he basically said they are playing to win, they're professionals and that's the expectation.

Apparently, Jameis said it's a great opportunity to play the best and you have to love that.

I'd think Browns fans gotta love that attitude.
absolutely.....but Like most fans (at least in forums like this) those I come across just looking for reasons to complain....and, sure, this season hard to blame them. Many even make up things to complain about.

Not sure it was the same quote but what I also like that Myles said was he held tha players responsible and didn't just put it on the coaches like fans do. Isn't to say they don't bear some blame as they do.

Wonder what fighhtin' thinks about Philly's 10 game winning streak?

Wish he were here to let us know his thoughts.....
Likely rip them all season so if they do anything but win the SB he can claim a personal I-told-you-so win for himself?

Btw, speaking of Garrett, is he ok after getting apparently hit in the eye...?

A LITTLE? :heh: Nah for real though, his posts were fun to read and I appreciated his insights. In the PF his fights with the people you fight with were comedy gold.
Lol he was definitely mad at me when the Eagles lost the Superbowl. But we never jabbed at each other for long...
