Just saying what I think, their defense is pretty good. Beck may not play but with Etienne back they can score enough points.

A lot of teams have pretty good defenses. Beck is nothing special. A lot of luck this season, maybe it continues but they are pretty inconsistent

This is what I was getting at last week. I do not see the point of conference title games anymore. Unless the teams ending up with identical records and didn’t play in the regular season, the risk is far too high for the team with a better conference record. Missing out on the playoffs because you played a 13th game that most didn’t have to play just doesn’t seem fair to me

If we look at the CCG as an extension of the playoffs, it makes that much more palpable.

But I'm not losing any sleep over a team that didn't beat a single ranked team. If they choose Bama so be it.

I do think if they're honest about Texas resume then they should not get a home game.

Yep it kills conference title games from the ACC/BIG 12 if you kick SMU out for losing a close 13th game that Bama didnt have to pay
