I think most teams are going to plan to shut down the run and force Winston to throw the ball.

Stack 7-8 players in the box and go ahead, Jamies.

That's what Payton is probably waiting for. That's when Jameis can hit them over the top as he did vs GB

Jameis completed 14,11, and 13 passes on 20,22, and 21 attempts. Point is there wasn't much difference in his game the first 3 games. Run game was limited and defense wasn't as dominant in Carolina.

2-1 through their first 3 is what i expected. They can very well be 4-1 entering their bye. This league is all about wins

Did you watch that game? It sounds like you didn't. This blaming jameis whenever the saints lose is lame. That had more to do with the panthers defense. Most teams aren't successful with a poor performance from their oline. Did you not see what happened to the bears yesterday?

That kind of proves his point though. When the o-line isn't performing well is when the QB's decision making becomes most important. It's easy to make the right decision from a clean pocket.

It's when the pocket breaks down and he has to decide between throwing the ball away or try to force it in...or whether to take the sack or try to make a play with his legs that gets him in trouble. Going back to college, Jameis has pretty consistently made the wrong decision in those instances.

The guys on Get Up are right.....Nagy didn't have a good game plan vs the Browns.

Fields isn't that bad at all.

Yep, throw the ball out of bounds.....instead he threw 2 INT's.

That game had very little to do with Jameis though. He had 1 poor decision in that game. There will be games where they simply get beat and that's what happened. My guess is when Thomas comeback, the offense will look better. If Jameis and the offense can get in the low 20s then they have great shot to win

The trend of Super Bowl losers taking a step back the following season is very real.

Why throw the ball out of bounds down 16 with 2 minutes to go in the 4th? Only with Jameis would people care so much about an irrelevant int with the game decided. His decision making was fine on the first int but poor foot work was the issue. Had he gotten his feet set then that was actually a td. Need to be better at that

Nagy's game plan for JF was pure garbage.

Rookie QB pays for Bears' coach major mistake. Article- Browns sacks Bears QB Justin Fields 9 times in his first NFL start

You would think they'd have a game plan set up for him since they drafted him and he is the future. And it's not like Nagy was a DC before becoming a HC.....he was an OC.

I think Nagy gets fired after this season.

Because throwing it away stops the clock and gives them another play. Throwing an interception pretty much ends any comeback possibilities.

Getting MICHAEL Thomas back certainly won’t hurt

Lol the game was over. They weren't even down 16. They were down 19 with under 3 to go. Teams dont come back needing 3 tds with under 3 to go and no timeouts. That int was irrelevant.

The fact that we are still talking about an INT that happened over a week ago after the game was decided is wild

I hope the Fat Man gets better and it is nothing serious.

The wife was upset when I talked to her on the phone.

So why not just run out the clock.....why even bother throwing it?
