Yikes

This Dude signed a 40 mil contract at one point.

From perspective multimillionaire to go fund me fund status.

Horrible way to die.

despite the awfulness of this story people are probably not super moved to donate to former NFL players.

My guy I’m thinking about is Jahmyr Gibbs. Where did he go in your draft? How about for you @thunderc

He is trending up big time.

Was able to get him early 4th in a couple early August drafts.

Now you are lucky if he is there early after 25.

Will be interesting to see if he proves to be worth that price tag. I think yes in PPR, probably not in standard.

I don't understand Bijan getting the kind of hype he is. Give me numbers first.
Our conversation was just from a fantasy perspective. Last year the Falcons ran the ball really well. They added a dude who is an upgrade at the position. He’s gonna get a lot of touches and he’s also going to probably account for 17-20% of his team’s total TDs this season. He has much to prove in the league for sure and I agree with you. But for fantasy? He’s floor is that dreadful rookie season of Najee Harris in Pittsburgh. Dude couldn’t be worse than that. And Harris still finished that season as a top 10 fantasy back because they kept feeding him.

...and if you look at the early first round rookie RBs in fantasy in recent memory, they have excelled in fantasy. Add in the heavy run bias of the Falcons offense and he should have a very high floor as well as a high ceiling. He's like a Barkley level talent in a more run oriented offense and without the injury history.

Harris didn't have the rb depth Atlanta has

I'm not sold on Tyree, but he's got upside. Can't imagine the Raiders were scared off by attitude issues lol, maybe it was the conditioning?
Going to that locker room bereft of leadership and strong voices would have been the worst thing for Carter. He hit the perfect storm. That locker room holds him accountable every day. While they’re doing that though, they’re also building him up and helping him recognize that he has out of this world ability. The message has been you owe it to yourself, this locker room, and every football fan in the world for you to become the best DT to ever play football. Will he be? Probably not. That shit would be fucking sick and unlikely but he could be pretty fucking good. Carter and the Eagles are the perfect storm.

That’s the hidden value of NIL. He doesn’t have to go run for the money. NIL still may lag from the first year of the contract of the number one overall pick…but not by a ton.

That’s true. At the same time, those guys aren’t the playmakers Bijon is projected to be. He is likely to be their best back and their 2nd or 3rd best receiving option.
