They’re a fucking mess. The best QB on the roster might get beat out by a CYO quarterback. And fuck NBC. I used to get Mike Tirico. Now I have Chris Colinsworth’s product of nepotism and Jason Fucking Garrett. Here’s what Jason Garrett provides during a football game.

- There must have been a miscommunication because a man wasn’t covered
- Breaking up a pass attempt is good defense.

Those idiots assumed on Cal’s 40 with the play clock running down that Freeman would call time out when everybody knows he’s taking a delay of game to give his punter more room. I can’t stand having to watch bad football and these twatwaffles calling the game at the same time.

Now we know why BK came back for that useless 6 am meeting. He came back with some Louisiana juju voodoo to spread all over campus. It’s bad bro. Really fucking bad. I’m like angry drunk right now.

Yeah the NBC commentators is a shit product. ND usually had a good duo so this is a major letdown.....I actually look forward to road games so I don't have to listen to these guys

@The Q

You going to see the Woman King?

:behindsofa:

All bullshit aside, its Braveheart with Black Women.

Not historically accurate.

But, it was pretty good.

It's nice to see a action movie, and that's what this is, without all the CGI.

The fight scenes were dope.
Been there, saw it...

Great movie...

Yeah they’ve been pretty good. They also added Sosa from the Cardinals who have given them a nice contribution. More importantly they’ve helped them deal with injuries to Castellanos Harper Dominguez Knebels and Wheeler with professionals. Phil’s minor league system I rag on them for actually produced quite a bit of MLB support this year.
Stott Vierling Hall Falter Maton have all made really solid contributions.
Let see:

Marsh: .294/.310/.769, + defense...........pretty solid really. Geez though- dude never walks.

Syndegaard: 4.79 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, 47 IP, 26 K's........gross

Robertson: 2.60 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 17.1 IP, 24 K's, 6 saves, 2 blown saves....solid/pretty good

Gimenez and Kwan should win Gold Gloves for the Guardians. I think both probably will too. Kwan for sure.

Not the power you like out of a corner- but great obp, great baserunning, never strikes out, great defense. Very solid rookie season.

Gimenez- top 10 in WAR in the major leagues according to ESPN. Very good sophomore season.

Naylor has been a good bat.

Oscar Gonzalez has been establishing himself as a guy that should be in the lineup.

Those 4 guys- Gimenez, Kwan, Naylor and Gonzalez all look good. With Jose, and a pretty solid Rosario- the offense has done just enough. Rosario with a 163 hits- top 5 in the AL....not great power or OPS....but been solid.

Kwan, and Rosario fit very nicely into the 1 and 2 slots....good skill sets for those spots in the lineup.

What made Syndergaard valuable was filling innings to account for Wheeler and Eflin being out. Marsh is actually a solid major leaguer in CF. That position was a black hole prior to acquiring him. Robertson has been their best bullpen arm since he was acquired. If you remember, my comment that day was looking at what was acquired and being shocked because the Phillies didn’t have the prospects other teams did. Relative to what Dombrowski had to work with in terms of prospects he could deal, the Phil’s did very well at the deadline.

DD is baseballs Danny Ainge imo

He's had several trades he's just absolutely murdered.

How many times are you going to repost this?

Damn you are obsessed.

You didn’t take the bet because you didn’t think they would win 80 either.

So the joke is on you!
The Indians just play in the right division. They’d be in 4th in the AL East, 4th in the NL East, 3rd in the AL West, 3rd in the NL West and 2nd in the NL Central. They wouldn’t be in the top 3 in the Wildcard in either the AL or the NL.

All I knew of him before coming is that he always ended up places where they would let him spend money. He’s pushed all the right buttons this year. Only Castellanos disappointed. Schwarber has a career high in HRs. He fired Girardi at the right time. He shed Didi Gregorious. Even the farm has given them contributions I never saw happening this year. This winter they will be in on the SS market. I think they’ll give a run at Trae Turner (apparently he’s really good friends with Harper) but in the end will get Dansby Swanson from the Braves. I hope Dombrowski sees what I see and deals Hoskins and Nola. Those guys could bring a nice return of prospects and they aren’t guys I want in the core anymore. Hoskins is a butcher at 1B and at the plate he is too feast or famine. Those guys are more famine when they face playoff level pitching. And Aaron Nola seems to collapse every September. My dream would be Phillies invest in SS and 1B to the tune of 50-60 mil per year.

They will get Andrew Painter up (25th ranked prospect) for the rotation to go with Wheeler, Gibson, Suarez, Syndergaard, and Falter. They should look to deal Gibby this winter if they can.

He often will fleece your farm but dude has never not built a contender. I don't understand the hate he gets. The problem is owners want to stop spending.

The red Sox firing him was bizarre. They'd just won the Series.

I wish detroit had kept him but Chris I is a cheap fuck and his dad was dying and moved on from DD.
