I think the Lakers have figured-out that when the defense is this tough, AD and LeBron can not do it alone.

It is nothing special scheme wise.

All they are doing is fronting the post and rotating quickly to double from the weak side.

Most modern era teams don’t double this hard concerned about weak side 3s and Miami has a ton of long, athletic, versatile defenders.

That's a terrible play by Lebron even though it won't mean much. He could have pushed the ball and got a good shot to end the half. He instead dribble out the final 3 seconds for some silly reason
