IMO, you need stars to win. You can always find good role players, but ultimately you rely on your horses to get you where you need to go. I understand some value picks, but how I got Kyrie in the 2nd round I'll never understand. Or Ben Simmons with 4th to last pick in the 2nd round.

That's why I chose Murray for my PG, there were better options but having Kawhi at 39M I need a young PG, good salary that plays defense. If he works on his jumpshot kid is gonna be a stud, now I need some shooters around Kawhi....

That’s why I have Seth Curry to stretch the floor. Simmons in a P&R with KD is going to be lethal. He’s basically Draymond on steroids offensively. Ben won’t need to shoot outside at all. Jump two at KD and he’ll drive to the basket and either take it to the hoop or kick to the wing. Ben going full head of steam to the basket without a big clogging the lane is a nightmare if you choose to double or triple KD.

Hield is a head case and Morant has more leadership characteristics than Fox. I take mine.

Yes and no.

Yes, you need some star power.

But, the “winners” here aren’t going to be anywhere near as stacked as a top NBA contender would be. Talent will be a lot more spread out and the hard cap is going to really limit who we are able to take.

I hope people are looking at a lot more than best star duo, otherwise we might as well stop drafting now.

I’m not sure that is a good way to look at players in this one, I mean Kyrie is a “headcase” but he produces but I dont even understand why Hield would be labeled one. Either way it makes all the difference in the world is what role they have on their team, fit, etc. Morant is better than Fox imo and hard to compare Hield with Washington bc rhey play different positions but to this point Hield is the better player without a doubt. It’s going to matter how you surround those guys in this one. The team that wins is going to have a very deep team imo bc that cap is so low.

That headcase better not be a #1 on your team but i will be looking at it from a fit and talent standpoint with less importance on players I don’t like and I hope everyone else does the same.
