Guys like Jefferson and Kevin Love to an extent are interesting. They've been in the league many years putting up big numbers and have nothing to show for it.

That's true, but they are just examples that sometimes you need more than 1 player on a team to make them successful, especially if that one player is a PF/C who requires others to get them the ball.

What else do they have in common? Yep both former or soon to be former Wolves. Love actually bashed Wolves mngmt for not giving him and Al a chance to play together.

Whats weird is that its not too difficult to imagine them playing well together with Love playing more of a stretch 4 role.

I think the problem they saw is that neither is known for defense

Yeah, that would hurt. I chose Love to be the stretch 4 role, but every other player I have starting plays defense. I figured 1 issue on D was acceptable for Love's other talents (especially with LeBron and Ibaka helping).

Very true but its not as if they traded Al and went and got some great defensive players, they still suck at team defense.

That would be scary as hell on offense but would have to be the worst defensive front court in the league easily.
