It’s just one game. But I will say the league should be embarrassed about how they rate Jaylen Brown. That man may be the most complete two way player the playoffs have seen this year
They rate him 2nd team all NBA where he belongs dude

They don’t need to move the ball much when you have those two. But not doubling was the story
Luka's teamates score 57% of the time on Lukas assists. Luka needs to put up his 30+ which he likely will do but he needs to get near 10 asst for the Mavs to win.

Boston played him great. He's use to guys dropping off their coverage so he can get them the open shot. Boston didn't do that. That confused Luka. Look at him to shoot more in game 2.

So we agree there are no superteams today....but it's starting to feel like the Celtics this year are lil' superteamy?

No top 5 guy but a top 8 guy (JT), a top 15 guy (JB), a top 30 (KP) and a top 50 (Holiday), and good role players like White.

These guys dominated the regular season more than any team since the KD warriors. Played good D and O, tons of 3s.

It's looking like a coronation...these guys looked great when I said they were gonna win the title 3-4 months ago, not some big deal to pick the favorite. But that's my point: these guys are close to super. Easy pick well before the season ended.

Are there stats on easiest path to a Championship?

Not to downplay Bostons season. Or their overall ability. Great year, borderline great team.

Just wondering where this path stacks up.

They just had nearly a week off before game 1...now they get 2 more days off before game 2 on Sunday.
Seriously though...the PTB in the league front office really need to cut back on the number of games in the regular season by ay least 10 per team.
But I'm sure they won't even consider it because rea$on$$$$.

Cmon man.

They are a very good team. What makes them good is that they have 6 high level starters. Their 5th best player would be a 2 or 3 on almost any other team.

That does not make them a superteam. That isn’t what a superteam is.

Celtics are a lot closer to ‘04 pistons than 2012 Heat in terms of roster build.
