I would pick myself to win this one. I feel like I'm better at PG, SG, C while he is better at SF and PF. I also believe my bench is a lot stronger than his.

Tell me if I am wrong...

But I don't like either teams bench too much...

Starters I like Gold better...

So I pick Gold...

Starters are a slight lean Gold, same with bench. Gotta say Gold close

I'm not crazy about either bench either, I always did like Oakley though. I think "O" is the best player in this draft and the pieces around him are good, I give Gold the edge here...

Yes he was... Nos
Looks like it was close... Lanier looks like he was better offensively Cowens was better defensively... I personally like defense out of my Centers... so i would take Cowens over lanier...

I like Cowen's better as an overall piece to a team, problem would be trying to check Lanier straight up. Even though Cowens was a great defender, he couldn't handle Lanier in the post

I like a big center that can push people around if need be... Lanier 6'11 250 Cowens 6'9 230

Also, unless the center is out shooting 3's there is no reason for them to shoot under 50% : Lanier 51% Cowens 46%

I'll take Lanier.

No love for my bench? Oakley was a beast on the boards with 12,000 rebound in his career and 9.5 average per game. Also Oakley was a good defender. Darrell Griffith was one of the best dunkers plus he was one of the better 3 point shooters when he was playing. Ellis might be a SG but he has played PG. Its hard to pass up a guy who averages 19.3 points, 4.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.7 steals for his career and I have him coming off the bench. Jackson is 33% career from 3 so he isnt like Detlef or Miller in the high 30s-40s but when the game was on the line in the 4th quarter Jackson would always hit a big 3 kinda like Robert Horry but just on a lesser scale. Alvan Adams could post you up and was also a good shooter like a poormans KG.
