Nats 2013 Regular Season Thread

Hopefully more traffic here this season. Unless it gets really busy, I figured series threads would work.

6th inning of game 2 right now, Marlins have yet to score a run in the series. Nats have 3 solo home runs. 2 by Harper and one by Gio. Lead 1-0 tonight.

Zimmerman gets his first hit of the season: a triple down the right field line with one out.

Ryan Mattheus relieves Gio to start the 7th. Still 1-0 Nats.

From a distance, Danny Espinosa's beard looks like it's painted on...

That was weird. 1st and 3rd with 1 out in 7th, chopper to 2nd, Bernadina runs into 2nd baseman for the out but tackles him to prevent the double play. Not sure that was entirely legal...

Take it, though. 2-0 Nats.

lol, yeah, it can get a bit lonely. Only started the thread a couple of innings ago, though, so I don't think any of the other Nats fans know it's here yet.

I like this team a lot. Too early to really tell anything, of course, but this should be another fun season here. If the starting pitching holds up health-wise, it should be dominant.

Soriano dances with danger, but gets out of it. 3-0 Nats final. 2-0 on the young year.

Looks like it's going to be a long year for the Marlins.

That's a pretty odd play. Braves were playing the Marlins last season and this happened, they went ahead and gave Miami the dbl play....
