Amazing game with one of the, if not the, best finishes to a title game ever. Congrats to both teams on great seasons and obviously to Nova for winning it all.

The prayer that tied the game was lucky. Not sure what that has to do with anything. One had an open look because he wasn't defended the other threw up a prayer after the man defending him went all out on defense.

Jenkins made a clutch three at the buzzer. That's great. They'll have that memory forever. He deserves credit for having the composure to knock it down. But, I'm not sure why he deserves credit for getting open when he literally just jogged up the court and shot.

Congrats to UNC. They gave me one hell of a season. I wont forget this team. One of my Fav teams to watch. They are frustrating as hell but when on tough to beat. Tonight they werent on. Had a great 1st half but disappeared in the 2nd. Non force turnovers killed this team. They had 7 turnovers that had nothing to do with Nova. Cant have that. They showed hart to come back from 10 with 5 min left.

LETS GO UNC.

That was a great game to watch with two absolutely talented teams. It will be remembered for a long time and will set the bar for future Championships. Hats off to Nova for refusing to lose when it mattered most. Good job and season goes to North Carolina, I hope the jerk that punched your mascot gets arrested.

Yeah, if Nova shot out of their asses like that, I never thought anyone could beat them. Very few of those were open 3s. The best one was Paige's 2nd to last one on the in bounds play with about a minute left.

Nova still found a way.

The way they kept Brice Johnson and Perry Ellis in check was probably the most impressive thing they did.

The problem tonight was they struggled getting the ball inside and when they managed to get the ball in there to the bigs the bigs forced up shots. UNCs guards shot much better than normal but they didn't do near as much damage in the post as they've done throughout the year

Yes thats about it. Their bread and butter is 2nd chance points and fast break points. We had a season low.

He floated behind the guy with possession of the ball and put himself in the spot where he could step into a 3. And credit to Arcidiacono for clearing the guy after he gave up the ball. Yes, the defense was awful but they didn't want to give up something at the rack or a short pull-up j that Villanova proved all game they can hit.

And the reason I bring up the other shot is I don't think you'd be calling it a complete prayer if NC wins. It was a great shot but a pump 3 with the body contorted? Very low percentage. Did a great job of getting back to a decent shooting position while contorting himself.

I think that had more to do with villanova preventing that than UNC not doing it on their own. Nova had a great game plan. If UNC shoots it like they normally do from 3, Nova wins by double digits.
