Why would you ever script more than half of the football game? That's like sticking to the ol' bayonet charge after the other side brings out the artillery

It drives me nuts. Most teams script like 10-15 plays. Texas always scripts the first 40 play calls.

Texas might have had 300 yards rushing in the first half, had they not gameplanned a passing attack.

Sark won a lot of games this year with that method.... He was not going to run the ball no matter what if it deviated from the "40".

But, anyone on earth could have seen how terrible Washington Defense is versus the running game.

Texas refused to run.

yep, their offense is getting predictable in term of snapping the ball inside 5 second mark on play clock. Michigan read them play like a book on it and stop them on plays.

I know it all too often with Carroll's Seahawks. So often especially in the last 5 years the playclock routinely goes down to 0-1. They are slow to the line, there's not even any audibles. It's like Seattle's coaching staff is on a Pentium 2 processor (Carroll probably is). It's so maddening. The minute they get stuck in a situation and up the tempo they move right down the field.
