No Locks allowed as answers.

MIne - Garrett Bolles - Duke Dawson - Trey Marshall

Bolles - light switch goes on - plus the run game and escape ability of Lock - he plays fearless.

Duke Dawson - Fangio schooled him last year and unleashes him this year.

Trey Marshall - someone has to take snaps besides Kareem and Justin -and Marshall happens to be pretty good.

Dremont Jones
Noah Fant
Bradley Chubb (if comeback player is allowed in this category)
Those were the 3 that came to mind. Fant is almost a no-brainer with what he showed last year and being a safety valve for a young QB. I wondered the same thing about Chubb and whether to mention him in this category. And I think Jones has the combination of improvement of his own skills, plus improvement in the sense of people surrounding him (Chubb returning and Casey being the biggest factors there.

Nice breakdown by Cody Roark on Trey Marshall's progress as a Safety.

Hamilton will be free on Disney around July 4th. Save yourself $400 and watch it.

Saw it with the original cast on Broadway.

I would say by this thread the Broncos have a lot of players who can either breakout or comeback.

Having Chubb back is like having another 1st rounder joining the team only more experienced.

I'll throw out another name you don't hear very often, but he has talent - Joe Jones. He's shown well in preseason and appeared to be on the brink of breaking out last year before he got injured and AJ broke out. Joe Jones - is the fastest ILb and may have the best coverage skills in that room.

Noah Fant does seem sort of like an easy choice here. Not much explaining to do here.

Dre'Mont Jones- I have been a huge advocate of Jones busting out all off-season. He is one of the players I am most excited to see this year. He reminds me a good deal of Trevor Pryce. I think Jones is going to be that guy who is very dependable in every phase of the DL. He has a lot of room to grown, and he is a very hard worker. He can put pressure on the QB and he support the run well. He will play a much bigger role this year and down the line be a leader, IMO. I am looking at Jones as being one of those guys that Denver HAS to wrap up a long term contract by the time he hits his 4th season. He will be the next Derek Wolfe who plays in Denver for a long time. We saw him grow little by little last year and I really am a HUGE advocate for this guy this year and going forward. He always impressed me at Ohio State, his biggest issue was consistency. He was a fun pick to me. Not really a guy I ever consider for Denver, but a player I always admired at Ohio State, when we selected him it was a nice little surprise to me. I think Jones is really going to blossom this year and will likely be the reason why Shelby Harris only plays one more year for Denver. That being said I am excited to have Harris back and get him for at least one more season teamed up with pro bowl DT Jurrell Casey and the growth of Jones. I didn't want to lose both Wolfe and Harris but was fine losing one A. Because we knew we wouldn't re-sign both but more importantly because B. Dre'Mont Jones will make a big impact this year at a much cheaper rate.

Trey Marshall- Everyone (including myself) wanted to re-sign Will Parks, who didn't really have a great year last year for Denver. Trey Marshall is near a carbon copy to me. He can play both safety spots. Not fancy, but he reminds me a lot of Parks and Bruton... He backup both spots, he can be depended on to start if needed, he can play special teams. He doesn't make many mistakes. When Denver made basically zero attempt to re-sign Parks an didn't draft a single safety in the draft, it was clear to me.... They like Trey Marshall.

Duke Dawson- It is unclear what his role is to me, and while I am a little biased on Dawson, I feel his versatility will come in huge for Denver this year. I am not expecting him to break out into some super star, but I think he can have a role similar to an Omar Bolden, where he might be depended upon a bit at safety, at CB, and be a factor as a gunner on special teams. I think Dawson will add great depth to the secondary with his versatility and will grow into a player that we feel confident enough when we need to throw him out there. He needs to stay healthy. Remember, last year really was his rookie season after spending his first year on IR.

From a personal standpoint I am excited to see what Alijah Holder can do at safety. I think he has a much better chance there to make the team then at CB.

I am also excited to see the growth of Justin Hollins and Malik Reed. Reed got a lot of PT last year when Chubb went down. He played great in PS and shines at time in the regular season. He has learned a lot. He is limited a little bit physically which is why he went undrafted after a great college year, but he produces and he showed in the PS and at times in the regular season that he can play in the NFL. You always get the most out of a guy like Malik Reed.

Justin Hollins is sorta the opposite of Reed. He has great physical tools, he is very raw. He showed ups and down last year when called upon, his best was towards the end of the season which is the most important for a rookie like him. He doesn't need to be elite here, but can he provide that extra pass rusher much like Shaq Barrett (not saying he is going to be as good as he was last year in Tampa), but can he be that X factor pass rusher that when someone needs a break the OL still has their hands full? Can Reed be that guy despite some physical limitations?

This is going to be such an exciting year as a Bronco fan with the growth of our young team. This is the most excited I have been for a season since our last Super Bowl win because I REALLY like what is going on in Denver right now.

@Draft Crazy thank for the great breakdown .

I think Justin Hollins is a breakout player the following year - it is just the Fangio has him enrolled in the Fangio PHD program learning two positions. Hollins will be a contributor in 20 but a force in 21.

Makes sense to me.
