Well no denying it now. My decision to buy a $200 Curry jersey when we drafted him was a monumental error of biblical proportions.

What a massive, massive bust he turned out to be. Today he officially "retired". Pretty easy to retire when no one wants your sorry butt.

C'est la vie. Live and learn.

Ouch! That's why I have a 12th Man jersey. That guy will never be a bust

Just posted the same thing about him. What a complete waste of a pick.

The fact he retired all ready tells me one thing. HIS HEART WAS NOT INTO PLAYING FOOTBALL. If he "loved" playing there is no way he retires and if he "LOVED" playing i believe he would have been much much better. We as Hawk fans saw how dominating he could be and we also saw how bad he could be. He had not desire to play, i think he was looking for the payday and then just stopped caring.

Not sure if it will make you feel better, but I saw a fan wearing a Bosworth jersey at the Bronco game.

Left satisfied.

It's to bad that Toomer is holding onto #59 or you could just get the name changed. Oh Well that's the "old" Jersey anyway. The New ones are MUCH better as proven over and over again through out the NFL as Seattle's new Jersey is selling much better than the old ones.

The new jersey is selling because the team is winning. Therefore it is "cool" to wear Seahawks gear again.

Don't think I ever saw anyone wearing anything Seahawk related from 2008-2012 and it's not because of the uniforms, it's because nobody cared except the die-hard fans.

You are only half right. Yes winning boosts sales that's a known fact but they did a poll near the end of last season ( NFL network )and the public actually had the Hawks new jersey in the top 10 Jerseys they would buy. It is liked by more than Hawk fans. That really has never happened before. Also the uniform head to head thing they had on NFL.com showed the Hawks were one of the most liked uni's in the NFL until some really strange things happened in the final hours that saw the 49ers get something like 200k Votes to pass up the Hawks Jersey. ( it was fixed, no way over 200 thousand people could have voted in that short time frame. their servers would have crashed :P )

I can kinda relate. I bought an Erik Bedard jersey for about $200.

When you wore it I bet it felt great for about an hour an a half then just completely gave up and fell off on its own, right? ; )

That's why I never, EVER!!!, buy rookie or first year FA jerseys.

The next one I'm considering this year is a Lynch jersey. He's not going anywhere for at least a couple more years minimum, and he totally deserves it. Even if say, 3 years from now, he signs somewhere else, it still could be worn with pride considering what's he's done here.

I'm one of those fans that doesn't like shelling out $150 for a new jersey every year. I have a Tatupu jersey and even though he is gone now, I really liked the way he played when he joined the Seahawks. Unfortunately, his way of playing led to injuries and concussion. So, since he was a major contributor to the Seahawks getting to the Superbowl, I still wear it.

I figure when we get back to the Superbowl, maybe I'll buy a new jersey.

Yeah, the expensive-ness of new jerseys deters me from buying them too. I have a Marshawn Lynch jersey, but only because someone gave me a big gift certificate that covered about 2/3s of the cost of it. If I hadn't got that gift certificate, the most recent jersey that I would have is the Joey Galloway jersey that I bought in the late 1990s.

I have a ton of jerseys from players that didnt exactly set the world on fire, but I still wear them. I was just wearing my Kitna jersey yesterday. My wife had my Darrell Jackson jersey on a few days ago too, but we live in WV so nobody asks or notices.
