My Week 3 Predictions

I believe in trap games and hang over games. This is both, more trap than hangover.

SDSU walked into Tempe and won by two scores last year. Then they went and beat Stanford the next week. Nobody forgot that. They might be really good and better than ASU, but it's hard to imagine they're going to sneak up on them.

I am naturally inclined to sand bagging. I expect ASU to lose almost every competitive match, I really do. But I think ASU blows SDSU's fucking doors off next week.

They’re not better. They lost their wiz DC (to ASU no less), they can’t pass the ball, and they are way, way too predictable/one dimensional on offense. Slam the ball up the middle on every play. So far ASU has allowed 65 yards rushing total in two games. The line opened at 3. It is now ASU -4.5. ASU has a brutal schedule and they are going to lose some games but not this one. Take ASU all day long giving the points.

I’m not a big Browning guy. I know he had the big sophomore season but truthfully I don’t think he’s really all that good at all. And he pretty much sucks against tough competition. Not a big game quarterback which is kind of important.

I'm not high on Browning myself. With that said Petersen had a chance to hire Beau Baldwin away from Cal and he should have done it imo or even try to hire Kellen Moore away from Dallas.

I don’t see OSU losing to TCU for sure. Utah over UW obviously isn’t the “obvious” pick, but Utah is one of those consistantly not great but can still beat anyone kind of teams since they joined the pac, and they have a home field advantage. While it hasn’t been the bullshit Arizona kind of kryponite for Washington, they’ve never lit it up there either.

I feel better about the game since jerms picked Utah though.

Utah has not looked that great this year. Even at home I don't think they match up well with Washington.

Utah upset the apple cart with the Bowl win over Alabama. Other than that, not much since. We've played them twice since then. In both games they couldn't cross the goal line or muster 200 yds of total offense. Hype and bluster is all you hear.
