Washington 26 at Minnesota 20 - Your typical sloppy thursday nighter goes to Redskins
Seattle 12 at Atlanta 23 - Falcons light fire to try and keep season alive.
Detroit 27 at Chicago 31 - Bears offense too much for Lions struggling defense at home.
Philadelphia 20 at Green Bay 17 - Eagles take advantage of Rodgersless Pack; slow down Lacy.
Jacksonville 20 at Tennessee 23 (OT) - Titans rally late, win in OT to keep Jags winless.
St. Louis 10 at Indianapolis 31 - Colts dominate Clemens and the Rams in this one.
Oakland 16 at New York Giants 27 - Giants keep slim hopes alive with win.
Buffalo 21 at Pittsburgh 28 - Steelers bounce back to take out struggling Bills.
Cincinnati 9 at Baltimore 10 - Something smells low scoring in this one; Ravens take it at home.
Carolina 18 at San Francisco 24 - 49ers end Panthers winning streak; move into tie.
Houston 10 at Arizona 23 - Cardinals sneaky good defense wins them this one.
Denver 30 at San Diego 27 - Broncos win this one late after 2nd half comeback.
Dallas 23 at New Orleans 24 - Close game goes Saints way.
Miami 17 at Tampa Bay 20 - Bucs pick up W on MNF in midst of Dolphins turmoil.

IMO, this is one of the toughest weeks to win games because there are so many mini-storylines within the games. Lots of teams that were good in years past that are having disappointing seasons that are trying to save their season at home. Other favorites having injuries that could affect their games. 2 coaches out due to health reasons that could or could not affect their teams performance. And a team in turmoil due to bullying. This is a week to just be respectable.

Agree...I really didn't take into the RI/Martin stuff into account...I might change that pick, but it might galvanize them for a week.

HCs...I don't think will matter that much in DEN...I'm picking an upset in this one just b/c of the matchup...HOU...Wade has been a HC...not sure.

A game that could surprise us is OAK @ NYG...I went NY as well, but Pryor against a slow DEF could have a big day.

Pryor last I heard is questionable to even play so I don't know if I would count on him being even a 100% if he does play.

What in the Bronco/Chargers match up do you not like for the Broncos? Not disagreeing just wondering your thoughts on that.

Good point on Pryor...I just think the athletic guy that can throw will give them some problems...LB

DEN & SD...well first off SD has been on the road b-t-b weeks so I think they will be looking forward to a home game. Secondly, matchup wise, DEN is giving up a ton via the air, and the Chargers have a good trigger man and some weapons to score. The part I don't like for the Broncos, this is their 1st DIV game on the road I think...not a big deal, but I'm expecting a close game either way.

I can respect that and understand how you can arrive at that conclusion. Obviously has a Bronco fan I look at it a little differently in most of those pass yards came when the Broncos were up 21 points and also were missing some of their key players on defense. 2 weeks ago they got those players back (mostly considering Champ is still out but is expected back this week) and held RGIII to his lowest QB Rating of his career. Rivers though has gotten back to his top 5 quarterback form so I can see him having a good day. Throw in the Broncos having to break in a new Head Coach could throw things off a bit game day so this game could surprise some people.

Obviously SD needs a few breaks, a turnover, a big ST play to win this game, but the Bronco DEF even at full strength I don't think will shutdown many good QBs, especially on the road.

Is it so crazy to think the Seahawks can lose this game? They don't usually play well going to the East Coast. The Offense has struggled big time. Atlanta is desperate for a win. Seems like a dangerous combination for the Seahawks to be walking into. Now given I do expect Seattle to lose but I don't feel confident in that pick.

No, its not crazy. As bad as Seattle has been playing, i'm actually on board with you in thinking we will lose this one. They cant stop the run all of a sudden and the secondary has been marked by the NFL in the effect that if they even look at a receiver in the wrong way anymore, the flags get tossed. Take that with a struggling offense and playing on the road and you have an honest prediction. The only saving grace here is that Atlanta truly sucks.

Will I be surprised if Atlanta wins? No. Will I be surprised if Seattle wins? No. This is by no means a give me for Seattle though. Can easily go either way.

I guess we shall see. I consider RGIII a pretty good quarterback even hurt this year and the Broncos two weeks ago held him to his worst game as an NFL quarterback. Rivers though right now is playing like the 2nd best quarterback in the league so this will be a great test to see just how far this defense has come this season for sure.

I had a feeling I was going to have a bad week once someone said they were going to use my picks. Wow. I might go into SNF with only 2 correct picks.

Flipped back and forth between this game and CAR @ SF...Was a blow out for a long time, but SD did make a game of it...not was I was thinking for sure.

I'm 7-5 going into MNF...IND probably was a loss for everyone I'm guessing.
