In all fairness on the tackle thing, we're only in a temporary bind. By all accounts Waddle's injury was short-term. Taking a tackle would have been great, but not in the 1st round. We needed Ebron. Just kidding. We needed Justin Gilbert to slide a few more spots is what we needed.

Mayhew, could have easily drafted a 1st rd CB if he really wanted to draft one. Fuller, Verrett, Roby all were available. Now, granted he would have had to attempt to trade down to draft Verrett or Roby, as Fuller was taken 14th, but he still had the availability to do so.

Lawson getting injured and going down for the season was only known by 1 poster in here (just like drafting VanNoy and getting injured and not producing for however long). It's the only one who complains about drafting players who get hurt their 1st season and stating Mayhew should have known it was coming.
