I apologize for not just using this as a response in another thread but just got home from Lincoln and other than being really pissed I am feeling pain if you no what I mean.

I kept getting texts and phone calls about the post game press conference. Finally saw the clips of it. What an immature ass. As someone said on Twitter, how does Bo expect his team to play composed when he is incapable of being composed? What is worse, going throttled by Iowa or knowing this shitty coaching staff will be here next year?

Coming into the game I did not believe Bo would've fired. He then goes to the press conference and challenges Eichorst to fire him. If Eichorst does not accept the challenge then his entire AD stint here will be a spineless joke. Bo is supposed to be an example. What a great example for his players on how to respect authority and a boss.

I am drunk and pissed!!!!! In time I won't be drunk anymore but I will still be pissed!!!!!

I actually still believe he will be here.

I don't.

I think he could have lost a close game today and remained.

However, losing by 21, disrespecting a ref to the point of almost striking him, disrespecting the halftime reporter, then being disrespectful in his presser will be the straw that broke the camel's back.

I thought at the moment of the fake return that Pelini had submitted a defiant resignation without giving up the money.

You can kill a camel if you like but I think Eishorst, Pearlman and Pelini all thought he was done. That play was just a signature to six years of :wtf:

Jed I can understand why you want Pelini gone. My question is this you can be an asshat and still be very successful. I've dealt with CEO's of billion dollar companies that are some of the biggest ass hat's in the world. But they are good at what they do. My questions is this are you wanting him gone for just his antics or for both his antics and performance on the field?

Second question. I have to ask why are people not more upset with Perlman? I'm sorry I can't stand the fuck and I blame him solely for the mess Nebraska is in. He hire's the biggest asshat of all in Pedey and on his watch almost allows the AD to go down in flames. He has Tom Osborne to turn to and he right's the ship. Perlman basically forces Osborne out and now we have a IMO a torn fan base and it's going to be a torn fan base for awhile. Regardless whether or not SE fires Bo or doesn't. Perlman wont have Osborne to turn it around again. I just think Perlman leadership needs to be question greatly. This will be a very interesting next 24 to 48 hours.

Like I said. I don't think Pelini "had" to win today in the mind of Eichorst, but I think Pelini thought he had to, hence the meltdown.

I think Pelini thought he had to meet the "9 win standard". When he realized it wasn't likely he just said fuck it.

You don't call out the AD in your presser though. For all practical purposes he challenged Eichorst to fire him. That's like challenging a court judge.

Come again?

Osborne stayed longer than he intended when he took the job in 2007. He said back then it would only be for 2 years, if I remember right. So he stayed on 3 years longer than he himself intended.

I might be wrong but I thought I read an article last year that Osborne want to be the AD for another year of two. Then Perlman is interviewing candidates for AD.

I hadn't heard that.

Not that it didn't happen, just that if it did I missed it.

My only memory was that T.O. never meant the job to be permanent and would leave on his own.

That's why I have major issues with Perlman I don't believe he let Tom Osborne leave on his own. This isn't my only issue with Perlman but one of many.
