agin i will say it , an HC with 2 horrific losing seasons isnt going to sit a number 2 overall draft pick for a year or 2 as he is shown the door for losing

it wasnt going to happen , and the went 10-6 with him and a playoff birth

the problem is Rg3's attitude , not some alleged mishandling of him . he needed to step up and show some dedication and maturity but he did neither . that is a character issue not a "sit down and learn " issue

i doubt we can win with RG3 at qb (super bowls ) because he isnt a leader . he is a superb athlete and he can make a play or 2 but no one is running through the proverbial wall for him because of his attitude and priorities

sorry but i am sick and tired of young men who wont accept their crap in an issue and others who excuse and coddle them . . RG3 has no one to blame for his plight but himself , period . it isnt "society " or the "coaches " or any other place you want to point the finger . . he needs to point the thumb right back at himself where it belongs and take steps to correct it .

that is what a leader of men does

Do you honestly believe that leaders are born and not the result of life and circumstance? Futher, based on what you've just written, what would you do with a player with an attitude problem?

Seriously, can we mimic Kansas City and let Robert game manage? 1st down, Morris 2nd Morris
3rd slant to WR/Curl to TE. Very simple formula.

By the 3rd, you can open up PA and bootlegs.

Alfred has averaged 4 yards a carry with defenses knowing EXACTLY whats coming.

Griffin's not the answer but I don't believe dragging this out one more year was the wrong move, there were few other choices.

MS was a loser prior to and after he signed here with that AFC west BS way of doing things. He.....I repeat HE wanted total control and supposedly got it, except he didn't know what to do with it. How does he say, Robert wasn't ready, hell I knew that......no prior experience, no prior play book, no skills reading defenses..... then start him, only to be proved correct? Either that jackass was too afraid to insist on disciplining and teaching his young player, or too blinded by his own sense of self to realize that he had a QB with issues. I said it then and I say it now, whatever they decided to pay for the second pick, you don't put him in a situation where he's doomed to fail. If the owner or his flunky didn't like my call to sit him, fuk 'em fire me and pay me. Ironically, the result turned out the same for Shanny!

I actually agree with you when you said that Griffin needed to learn on his own and had a poor attitude. The problem was/is that sort of arrogance leads one to believe that he is doing no wrong. An adult had to step in early nip that shit and put him on a correctable path that was clear, backed by everyone with the team's future interest a stake and correct the shortcomings of a very very expensive #2 pick. Someone had to tell him......unfortunately, no one did. MS lost his job because of that wrong decision and the team still plans to field a QB unsure if the hiring of M. Cavanaugh was enough to overcome their 3 years long missteps.

Step up and do what exactly? When everyone around him was proudly proclaiming his greatness, selling his likeness and name, or riding the early wave. Exactly when was this revelation supposed to come to him that he had to step his game up? That his shit stank? That he was totally unprepared to be an NFL QB? Think of it as investment in a new car if that helps, once you buy it, don't be surprised if it stops working if you never put gas, tires or maintenanced it beyond what was there when you purchased it. Just blame the car for failing.

the minute he signed a contract is when he should have stepped up . you want to be a "man " you need to act like one from day one . if you let your head get expanded by those around proclaiming your greatness and started to believe your press clippings instead of remaining humble and working on your craft that is on you the person , not an HC peyton manning had as much if not more press and accolades coming out and he worked as hard on his craft as anyone ever has

if he had the awareness and ability to do it so does Rg3 luck did it as well

he has the final say on selling his likeness. i didnt see luck out there doing all the commercial BS . he focused on his craft and he is now the better qb

it can be argued that luck , wilson , tannehill and nick foles have way surpassed RG3

the difference between them luck wilson foles and tannehill didnt have to be told to work on their craft first then do the promo's , but Rg3 somehow needed to be spoon fed about priorities

I taught my daughters that there was a great difference between a man and a male who has reached the age of consent. The one thing that I'm happy not to have passed on to them is that some people believe the exception to that is when a spoiled brat suddenly becomes a wealthy person.
