we have 3 needs on defense or should i say areas

d/line ., we are going to need youth here and reed from ala would be a good piece

ilb ragland wright and smith are options here

and safety is a need

now we need to hope hatcher retires , if he doesnt we must keep him to 17

resigning gallete would be good . then we have smith murphy kerrigan along with gallette , baker and drafted d/lineman on the field at the same time . could be very formidable vs the pass

i like foster and compton at ILb with spaight and a draft pick . riley and robinson took steps back and we need to really think about keeping them . 1 or both need to be gone

cb a healthy culliver , breeland , blackman and dunbar looks pretty good . drafting a tall cb would be a good thing

safety hall is a stop gap and a of season to hone up at safety should be good . a healthy nacho could be good but i feel jarret can take a step up with johnson being a ST . drafting a safety ( jayron kearse ) should be strongly considered

I'd really consider keeping Keenan Robinson. Last year, he played at a high level. He has it in him, I just believe he was hurting this year. He also contributes on STs. I wouldn't break the bank to sign him, but if you can get him on a team friendly deal, I'd keep him.

The problem with Robinson is, he always tends to be hurt. Sure keep him as a rotational player IF he is healthy and cheap.

BUt I dont think you can rely on him any more than any other injury prone player at this pint. I would rather 16 games of solid play over 5 Games of outstanding, 5 games of injured and below average, and six games where he is to hurt to even suite up.

What ever we do in the draft I think we need some Lineman that are good at putting pressure on the QB. You know JB scheme rush 4 drop 7 in coverage mostly zone and little man coverage behind it. JB likes to pressure quarterbacks without blitzing most of the time so he can really play more zone so if anyone miss a tackle he has more in coverage. We also need better tacklers (cb safeties) to play JB scheme.

It will be interesting to see were Galette plays next yr DE or OLB.
