Word. Kyuss pretty much gets credit for being the forefathers of desert or stoner rock. Personally I think the Melvins deserve that title as well as being the forefathers of grunge. One could even opine those titles should really go to Sabbath, but I digress. When you break it all down, its like Lemmy always said. Its all rock n roll.
