2) Kyle Van Noy , OLB 6-3 244 lbs , his ability to play ILB is the selling point to me here . i think he will be the BPA at 34

3) Jawaun James RT 6-6 315 lbs Offer same traits as antonio richardson and has 49 starts at RT . I think he can deliver as a starter by 2015

4) C J Fiedorowicz Te 6-6 262 lbs . Does everything well and at 6-6 he is a red zone target

5) Brent Urban DE 6-6 298 LBS Tall DE who has some upside . should be a good rotational type DE and he is young . could push golston off the roster

6) Justin Ellis NT 6-2 342 lbs . Perfect BU to Cofield and would fit very well in a rotation at NT . He , Jenkins , Baker and Urban would be a nice young rotation with Cofield and Hatcher

7) Kirby Van Der Kamp P this has been a sore spot for years but this kid appears to be a long term answer

well here it is 2 weeks prior

i dont do trade downs in my mocks but the more i look at this the more i feel a trade down is our best option

I like it skinsdad. I think OLB and RT are going to be the picks in rounds 2 and 3. You think Van Noy is the BPA over Attachou?

I keep hearing about Van Noy. He's all in my draft guide. I've read scouting reports and have seen plenty of film. Honestly, I never actually saw him play. For the record, I don't watch BYU. I heard that he also can play ILB, which is something that we can use, if the others don't work out. Very versatile. I don't like one-trick ponies. He can also play special teams. He is a good tackler and is a very tackler and run-defender. I'm not totally sold on Akeem Jordan, Daryl Sharpton, and Keenan Robinson. We'll see. Of course, Van Noy's natural position is a pass-rush OLB and he is very good at that. With all being said, perhaps he could be our starting ILB. Then, if Orakpo goes, next year, he could take over for Orakpo. All I know is I like Van Noy's game and versatility. I'd be satisfied with that pick.

Great mock. I would be tickled with that. But like Pride, I am wondering if some of those guys will be there in the respective rounds. In particular Jame (2) and Urban (3-4). But hey, you never know who will be there.

i go to several sources and see what the "avg " projection for a guy is .

that is all i can do as a fan and then try to take a few educated guesses

i cant argue that player "X" will be there when i have him slotted but that is my best guess

as the draft gets closer then things will move up and down

i will do another mock about a week prior

looks like a solid mock, I haven't looked at any film on the BYU kid but he must be solid if you feel he can switch to ILB and be worthy of basically the 1st round. no other complaints, I'm really not sure what will happen@34 anymore.
I thought Bowen would be cut, but that doesn't seem likely...perhaps a paycut. If they keep him, a DE may not appeal to them....Hoping Donald pushes Nix or Hageman out of the 1st.
