Dick Bass, the first Ram 1000 yard rusher, he was out of Vallejo, My cousin Eva Dean's boyfriend was the other running back beside Bass at Vallejo HS.

My number in HS was 22 because of Bass.

I always thought Torry Holt was pretty fun to watch. Can't forget that juggling catch he had against the Hawks back in '06 I believe.

I don't know how anyone could root against Kurt Warner or Marshall Faulk.

It would have to be the Deacon for me with Big Bob Brown a close second. Actually, there are far too many favs for me to narrow it to one.

Eric Dickerson or Rod Perry for me.

on the flip side I always wanted to punch Wendell Tyler in the face and I’m not sure why. Punchable Face Syndrome I suppose

Mine has always been Kurt Warner. Great guy and player that came out of nowhere and has a helluva story.

Saw this thread and watched a few Jack Snow you-tubes. Man those were great and brought me right back to my footie jammies as a young boy in front of that 13" with telescoping RF antenas!

Late 60s/ early 70s boy watching television - YouTube

I think mine had the rabbit ears right on the set!

Yeah, Bass had about 5 years on Buctkas, but the phonics of Dick Buckas was the the 'yeah that's it', to the almost crazy funny names.

Dickerson for me. I believe I still have the local sports page from the day after he was drafted. Hated that whole scenario that resulted in his trade out of town (and again for Bettis).
