Last week I listed all 124 teams.......people didn't accept it well, so this week I'm only posting the top 10.

Again, in parenthesis is how many games the program figures that team would win and lose if they played every team in the country this week.

1) Alabama (123-0)
2) South Carolina (122-1)
3) Notre Dame (121-2)
4) Oregon (120-3)
5) Kansas St. (118-5)
6) Florida (117-6)
7) LSU (116-7)
8) Oklahoma (116-7)
9) Cincinnati (116-7)
10) Florida St. (116-7)

It does not take much of a liking to West Virginia yet because of the points they give up on Defense.

Program figures they will drop a few games if they keep giving up that many points. Has them down at 24th.

They're like a mildly better version of Baylor last year so that makes sense to me.

JJM if it's any consolation my ranking system is in some agreement with yours, though I use a different method. However it has the Sooners at 41...and a lot of surprises in the top 25. This due mainly to the response variable being uniform and not normal. It usually takes 7-8 games before my model really starts to level out.

Another thing is this year there are so many FCS teams being played due to conference realignment and late schedule changes that the SOS has a bigger influence on the final weighting than normal and there is a wider range of some data than usual.

Mine has some surprises in the top 25 as well........

I'm actually surprised that it began coming into form this quickly all just based off of stats. I really like the system I've put together though and I think it should be about dead on in November. I'm excited to see what it looks like then.

My program does not take wins and losses into account at all, nor does it use any poll to build off of. It's just solid statistics that hopefully can predict how efficient a team is in all 3 phases of the game.
