My after OTAS 53 man roster

its way to early but here is my prediction of where they are at now

specialist way duck foot aka hopkins and sundberg (3)

OFFENSE

QB ) Smith , and Mccoy . smith has looked good and he is developing chemistry with the team . couldnt ask more of him . learning terminology is the only issue but that will come . so far so good . Mccoy has looked great especially connecting deep with davis . hogan is facing an uphill battle to make the team . he will have to beat out colt (2)

RB) Guice , CT Kelley Perine Guice is the back we have been looking for to go with CT . Kelley has come back looking fit and catching the ball . perine is a bruiser . Byron Marshall has JG's eye and FA montez carter could be in the mix depending on return game ability . this will be a tough battle . i am keeping 4 right now (4)

WR) Dox , Richardson , Crowder , Davis , Quinn , Harris we know all about the top 3 but i think davis has the early lead at the #4 wr with a strong showing so far . so far he is the most improved guy from our rookie class last season . Quinn has JG's eye (RG syndrome ) and Harris . . Sims could be on the PS 6-5 height and maybe one of the fa's if they can return kicks . i have us keeping 6 (6)

TE) Reed , Davis , Sprinkle are locks , the last spot comes down to the 6-6 260 Flannigan or newcomer Garret Hudson 6-4 240 with the loser going to the PS . i am keeping 4 because of Reeds health (4)

O/Line ) TW Lavou Roullier Sherff Moses, neschke , Christian Dunn Catalina, I have Paris on the PS at this point but he could bump catalina of the roster (9)

thats 25 on offense and 3 special teamers , now for the defense

DEFENSE

D/line) , Allen Payne Ionman , Mcgee Settles Lanier . i dont know how it could get better with hood or taylor , i cant keep 7 at this point (6)

OLB ) RK PS RA , and mcphee, i dont see that changing at all unless we have injuries . its a good group (4)

ILB ) Brown , Foster , JHC , Spaight , Hamilton . JHC perhaps has made the 2nd biggest jump during OTAS. Hamilton has potential if injury free (5),

CB) Norman, Dunny , FM , Hosley , Stroman , scandrick , Stroman has to take over as PR but he covers well too . This is a good group but not what it could have been (6)

Safety ) DJS , Nich , Fish , Blanding , i think the 2 FA safeties are young and tackle well . Fish has made a good jump in year 2 . Apke to the PS (4)

i think my most controversial picks are at BU safety but i look at everette and i dont see much upside and Apke isnt showing yet .

thats my 53 so far thoughts ?

WR. Will come down who are the better ST players with Davis, Harris, and Quick. Two will be picked here.

RB I don't see the point in keeping Kelley. We already have two bruisers so we need a 3rd down back who can back up CT and I think it would be Marshall.

Oline. I think Bergstrom makes it b/c he would be the only backup Center on the roster. Plus he is a vet that helps too

Defense I agree except for Safety. Apke and Everett will be the backups. If Blanding shines on ST he will be the 5th.

I have 8 olineman and 5 safeties.

they arent locks by a long shot , not saying they wont , but neither has anything more then BU upside and stop gap potential

i think fish and blanding have more in thier tool boxes then everette

not keeping bergstrem on my part is a bigger risk . i lean more toward Dunn and Paris on potential . if they dont make it i am sure they will be on the PS

and this is way to early as well

hah its fun to predict. I'm just letting you know I'd put Bergstom and Everrett chances of making the team barring any injury at 95% Vigil at 85% right now.

I agree with Dean. Heck up until yesterday even Hackenberg was on a team. Draft pedigree will prevent us from cutting him or even stashing him on PS...

Now if hes way too raw, which may be the case, I could see the Skins pulling an IR stash on some BS injury. Still surprised that the NFL doesnt regulate that loophole a bit more.

do we get to say alex smith has looked good so far or do we say , well its mini camp and OTAS and he still sucks , or do we take it for what its worth ?

Apke is behind so far this off season . that is a fact . can it change ? yes does being behind in otas mean he was a bust ? no does it mean ha cant impress in TC and the preseason and turn it around ? no

will this draft be a bust if apke doesnt make it ? no this draft looks like 4-5 guys will make it which would be a damn good draft in my opinion

for all the criticism you give to peoples mock drafts , and roster projections you would think you would grab a set , and put your own crap out there and let that get picked apart

then maybe , just maybe you would carry a little more currency . i put my shit out there in text all the time for every one to see . you hide behind a computer jumping in on any thing you can criticize without having then courage to put your own crap out there
