a lot of people are expecting a big jump in his play . isnt this exciting since a rotation of him kerrigan and rookie preston smith could really bolster the pass rush and play at OLB

somehow barry has to get these guys on the field together and he should , maybe not right away because of smith's learning curve but by mid season we could really see some innovations

all 3 can move around , put their hand in the dirt or stand up

you could have one of the 3 at ILB in passing situations to rush the passer or at NT or DE or OLB
what a lot of options

Yeah you and I have referenced Murphy a lot this off season. The Jared Allen comparison is nonsense, Murph will never be that fast off the ball. But we all saw how solid he was against the run, 6th in the entire league is very exciting. Not sure he will ever be a great pass rusher but you win with good football players and Trent Murphy is just a damned good all around football player.
