Definitely, I was worried that they might go into a tailspin and lose a few in a row, such as has happened to other M's teams in the past. Very glad that wasn't the case.

Was anyone surprised that the M's replaced Storen (on the DL) with Heredia, instead of calling up another pitcher, and then immediately put both him and O'Malley in as defensive replacements late in the game? I don't know if Heredia was just the next guy in line to be recalled from Tacoma or if his call up was a reaction to Sunday's fiasco, but whatever the reason, it was a good move.

Diaz is having trouble with left handed hitters. Stottlemeyer needs to fix that. They are crowding the plate on him. He needs to plunk a couple of them and take back control of the outer plate.
