After the 8th run scored I turned on reruns of American Picker...seriously. I guess at 51 I have grown out of getting upset with their ineptness. It really is what it is with them. I wonder what assistant coaches they will fire in the off season this year to fix the problems?

I miss the old days when the season started you knew all the players and it pretty much stayed that way all season. Now days, like today, you look at the line up and say "who the fuck is that dude?" And pitchers usually pitched most of the game instead of maybe 5 innings. Baseball has changed so much, and not always for the good. There wasn't all the righty lefty shit going on and the Manager of the team knew what the hell they were doing.

Get ejected or something, maybe punch Vincent in the face or bring a fully packed bag with him to the mound when he pulls him. They are missing the fire because they aren't having fun per Servais last week. As long as they have fun, they win. Funny because in my 30 years of playing/coaching sports I always thought that if you won you had fun and not that having fun made you win. I went about it all wrong for all those years.

To which I will always contend that 1 game is not a series therefor not a playoff appearance. It is game 163 like in 1995 and that is it.
