Aoki has done well, but doesn't have a lot to show for it because for the longest time, nobody was advancing him when he got on base. Lind is waking up now that we're facing righties a little more consistently.

I just wish the team could stay on the road for another couple weeks.

Aoki needs to get on base more. Nothing in his history says that he won't but a slightly above .250 OBP is not good enough for a lead off hitter.

Miley just gave up a home run as I was typing this. The M's really need another starter. Miley is terrible.

Agree w/ Aoki... He has "quality" at bats for a leadoff guy... Great example is his bunt he laid down this inning to advance Marte to 3rd... It was hard watching our guys try to advance base runners last year via the bunt...

This was one of my most hated trades of the off season.

Although Miley has settled down and has pitched well since the first.

i'm fine with miley as an innings eater IF he actually eats innings

besides felix, we haven't had a starter who could go 190+ innings in a very long time, and miley's stats were okay for being a workhorse in the boston litterbox of a ballpark

he went 7.1 today, and needs to do that quite a bit for the rest of the year and stop giving up homers so much...and dipoto would have to be right about smith's injury status and elias's inability to remain effective with the curve as an out pitch for me to ever think it was a decent trade
