I'm glad Cruz has finally become a team player by letting cano use his roids!

Damn that was great to get that win after letting it slip away. At some point we might have to conclude this is a good team. Maybe even really good.

Well MLB says there is another player about to be suspended and we should know in the next week or so, so...

Lineups.

No Cruz today. Forearm soreness due to getting hit so much lately. Dae Ho Lee playing DH today. Cruz is available to pinch hit.

He does look bigger to me.

Lost weight during stomach issue, would make logical sense if he bulked this offseason and used supplements to do so.

Cano doesn't look bigger to me at all. He looks like he did when he first came up with the Yanks as a kid. Very trim.

That has little to do with whether or not he's taking PED, though. I assume he and most players are since the testing system is so feckless, only a theoretical zero IQ could get caught...or somebody who is supremely arrogant.

I don't think it is Cano or anyone on the M's. I questioned how Altuve can hit 430 bombs at 150 lbs, but who knows. I am going out on a very long limb and say Adam Jones.

For me, it could be anybody. Popping positive is the result of stupidity for any MLB player, and is a very poor barometer for trying to figure out who is and is not using PED. The list of substances that MLB and the MLBPA agreed to put on the JDA is hardly exhaustive, and the testing system itself is a joke from the way tests are timed to the way the testing administrators are chosen.

The biggest PED bust in MLB history was the result of ZERO failed tests from a dozen guys who had taken hundreds of tests over years and years.

Instead of going by their size or baseball stats, the best way to figure out who might pop positive is their IQ.

well we got the split even though a 3-1 was very possible with a 6.5 era pitcher going against us. start again tomorrow.

We gave up nothing for Lind yet we overpaid.

On another note; Trumbo 3 for 4 with 9th homer and a triple. Of course it is so important to have the lefties on hand.

If you want to be the big man on campus, you have to beat the last place team with a pitcher with a 6.50 ERA starting.

A little disappointing for sure.
