12 strikeouts and just 3 runs scored. And the game ain't over yet. Mix in some defensive mishaps and base runner blunders and Julio smiling about getting robbed of a HR and it's just: 'move along ... nothing to see here'

What genius penciled in Heranandez and Suarez back to back in the line up.

That duo of Captain K's account for 1/2 our strike out total with 3 apiece.

The only take away, was finally seeing Ty France have some fire under his belly and getting thrown out. Which was bogus

Yesterday was another winnable game they refused to take. They didn't need a HR to win it, nor more timely hitting, they just needed to play decent fundamental baseball and not keep shooting themselves in the feet.

I have always said and will keep saying it, it is what you do with your outs that decide a game. Hits are awesome but happen about 25% of the time for a team so those 27 outs are so important. Move a runner over. Flyball or groundball a runner in. It is so frustrating.

Exactly what I stated.

He had to have clearly seen the 2b go into a dive and he was within 60-65 feet of home plate and should have been side stepping even closer as he watched the play develop. There isn;t a 2nd baseman on the planet who could throw you out at the plate in that situation. None would even attempt to.

Mariners have zero fundamental discipline to do the correct thing at the right time to win games.

this is baseball 101, it's not some late breaking new secret just discovered.

Our team stinks, it's time we all face the truth.

The lead sucked. His reaction sucked. As you know, as soon as an infielder turns his hips on a groundball, you take off. Like you said, and I shouted at the time at my brothers, you can't get thrown out. Slow ass France couldn't get thrown out on that play. Only a directly hit GB you freeze on. Everything else is a go. Look where Suarez was. Even he knew it was a go. He was halfway to 3B. I am still pissed at this.

And why the hell was Julio jogging around 3B on the overturned run? He even slid into the catcher instead of keeping his straight line. This team is inept.

When kelenic was on 3b with 1 out a sacrifice fly/contact to the OF is all we needed with his speed at 3rd…. Instead they looked like they were just trying to hit a HR instead while striking out both times… fundamental baseball is not present here in Seattle…
