That is the frustrating thing with this team. They have talent, at times they have looked like they could be one of the best AL teams, then other times they look like the A’s. I can’t see how they could possibly keep Servais after this year unless they get hot. An up and down season is on the manager. I know Ohtani is most likely a pipe dream but part of the pitch should be pick the manager.Yeah, we need to come to the realization that this team just isn’t very good.. Hope for them to turn this around is slowly fading.. We’re almost in August and they just keep spinning their tires …
Agreed! Been saying for a while now, had it been any other team, he would not have lasted this long, maybe seeing the end of his third season. That is the frustrating thing with this team. I don’t see Dipoto changing managers, he’s always praising Servais and just seems like no matter what Servais is his guy even if he ends up going down with him …Kelenic is still growing as a player, but the kid really shows he cares with every at bat and every play in the field. I could deal with a season like this much easier if everyone showed they just gave a shit like Kelenic does night after night. They just don’t have the right skipper, this is a culture thing IMO.
Evidently cared too much. DamnKelenic is still growing as a player, but the kid really shows he cares with every at bat and every play in the field. That is why I think he is gun shy now. He pulls off and is behind pitches. I think the injuries have gotten into his head.I will raise my hand and admit I was wrong. But to be fair, his slumps were almost always right after his injuries. And that was the excuse “those in the know” said I parroted it.
Sewold said he had tears and was apologizing to everyone he spoke to.You know, I honestly can't say I blame Kelenic for his reaction to all this.
Considering how they float around .500 (undeservingly), the definite case of SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT...
total laziness at the plate...
an organization that should be asking themselves how much they REALLY care about performance...
and the boo birds coming out en masse now...
it's time to start asking what the Real Master Plan is for these guys.
