The Senators are guaranteed Nashville's 1st round pick in 2011.

If the Predators make it out of round 1 of the playoffs Ottawa receives a 3rd round pick in 2012. If they make it out of round 2, Ottawa receives a 2nd round pick in 2012.

So best case scenario, for Ottawa, is Nashville sneaks in as the 8th seed, 16th overall and then proceeds to win it's first two rounds in the playoffs. Following this they finish dead last in 2011/2012.

The Sens get the 15th pick this year and the 31st in 2012. Ohhh... I see this one playing out.

It's no Kessel trade but it ain't bad.:p
