Wouldn't this "lengthen" the time of the game though since the batters will be getting more hits? Since they could see the ball better? Just a question

right this is not MLB ready yet... lets see how the testing works in the Atlantic...

With that said, I am not a fan of it... the change affects pitching, and we live in an offensive world... So what this is going to mean, the elite pitchers become even more valuable, and the weaker pitchers become even more replaceable...

It's been 60 feet 6 inches since forever.

I mean, what's next, shortening the distance between the bases because stolen bases are down?

Dimensions have been fine for over 100 years. Leave it alone.

I think they need to do something to the game to make less strike outs and more hits and home runs. And more extra base hits and not just a single here then a single there.

While we're at it, let's shorten the NFL field by 20 yards or so. We need more scoring so dumbass fans that are 'bored' by a good defensive game watch!

I say only have 1 outfielder as well. If someone reaches 20 runs before 9 innings than the other team has one more inning to reach 20 runs as well. In the event of a tie a 2 man sack race will be held until a winner is crowned.

First of all you don’t need to do that to football because they are one of the most popular sports out there. Baseball needs to make a few adjustments because they are really losing younger fans.

And guys are running faster, jumping higher, throwing harder, etc. in basketball and football but the field/court has remained the same because it yields more scoring and fans love that cause "OMG SCOREZ AND MAH FANTASY TEAMZ SEE I AM SPORTS FAN!" So back to my point. Baseball wants more scoring.

just move the fences back. Put an emphasis on line drive hitting and gap power... and defense. I don't think you need to do anything with the mound.
