because he is. He has always had a good or better line & great defenses.

This year their excuse for Eli's struggles was because he didn't have time in the pocket.

He is a media hyped player. They talk about Eli going in the HOF. Don't think everyone is saying he is overrated. No one ever says Romo's going in the Hall. Eli is a decent QB that was on some really good team oriented teams. Also well coached. he should never be in the conversation of the greats.

His Hail mary pass every talks about what a great pass it was. Are you shittin' me? he just threw it up in desperation. What happened next was one of the greatest catches in Superbowl history. & the sad thing is everyone gives Eli credit for that & most don't even remember the WRs name. Without that WRs catch. Eli doesn't win that superbowl. & might even be a disappointment for his career. Not because he is a bad QB, because I don't think he is a bad QB, but because what expectations they had for Eli when they gave up those picks to get him. He is no where near top tier. Like most think of him. Thus he is overrated.
