I can't imagine anyone picking Sun Belt or WAC. I don't think anyone would pick C-USA or MAC either, but I decided those 2 are better than Sun Belt with all who left WAC.

It was a tough one between ACC, Big East, and Notre Dame. I decided ACC because of their BCS winning %.

Chose the SEC because of how insanely top heavy it is, yet we're led to think by the media that Mississippi State should really be ranked in the top 25 and they'll go 6-6 again.

Earlier this summer, I have done a thread earlier this summer about if a conference should drop it's AQ status, which one should it be. I think ACC got more posts than Notre Dame did.

Seriously?

From top to bottom, I don't think the B1G is that far from the ACC over the last couple years.

Are you seriously trying to argue that a conference where the Virginia "we barely beat Indiana" Cavaliers went 5-3 has been as good as the B1G?

I don't think ACC is really that great. The past few years, I thought they were the conference to watch, but when B1G's 3rd best team beats ACC's 1st best and the ACC's 2nd best gets beat 70-33, I'm not thinking they are so great anymore.

* I say Michigan is 3rd because because I would say Michigan State was the 2nd best team in the B1G. They beat Michigan and Wisconsin during the season. Won the Legends, and barely lost to Wisconsin in the CCG.

"we just beat each other up" ... then play 4 cupcakes.

Virginia Tech was the ACC's 2nd best team, and if you watched that game, you know that VT completely dominated Michigan and then got completely buttfucked by the refs at the end.

I also think VT would have killed MSU, fwiw

VT was Big East's 2nd best team? So, Clemson (who lost by over 30 points to Big East's champion) was the best team? Yeah, that just made it more impressive.

Edit

VT isn't in the Big East. And if you want to get into single game nitpicking, you can, but that always goes nowhere.

My original point was from top to bottom, the conferences are a lot closer than I'm sure you care to admit, and I stand by that.

if we actually pick a conference then the SEC because of the all-dominant bs the media tries to feed us about that conference.

But Vanderbilt would run the table in any other conference, B to the SF27. :puke:

Punch me. Punch me right now.

I'm giving ND credit for their scheduling. They do face tough teams like Stanford, USC, Michigan, and Michigan State.

Do I think SEC is overrated from what the media makes them out to be? Yes. But they do have a handful of teams that I am impressed with. I don't see them being the most overrated.

ACC is the only right answer.

Their Only win is VT over Cincinnati.

Does anyone think the ACC, BE etc are good??? When I think overrated it means a conference or team ( in ND's case) is of high quality year in and year out when the results say different. I think the only 2 real possibilities are the B10 and ND. This doesnt mean the B10 isnt better than the ACC, BE, P12 ( they are) but it means they arent as good as they get credit for. I still voted for ND though

Exactly this. People shit on the BE and the ACC all the time, and for the most part, they live up to the "hype". How is that overrated?
