tOSU has one, the others have two NC's in the playoff era, and no one else has any. Not sure that tOSU isn't at least in the conversation.

They would be a very distant 3rd.

Alabama and Clemson have each been to additional title games, no such luck for OSU

1) My ratings were based on a performance metric, not a human poll. How did Ohio St. outpoll Clemson in your simulated AP poll?

2014 - Ohio State finished 1st (25 pts), Clemson finished 15th (11 points)
2015 - Ohio State 4th (22), Clemson 2nd (24)
2016 - Ohio State 6th (20), Clemson 1st (25)
2017 - Ohio State 5th (21), Clemson 4th (22)
2018 - Ohio State 3rd (23), Clemson 1st (25)

25 + 22 + 20 + 21 + 23 = 111
11 + 24 + 25 + 22 + 25 = 107

2018 - Ohio State 3rd (23), Clemson 1st (25)

25 + 22 + 20 + 21 + 23 = 111
11 + 24 + 25 + 22 + 25 = 107

I think it’s egregious Oklahoma or ND didn’t finish 3rd in 2018. But that’s just my opinion.
