I will. Because I don't like it when posters like FumbleRooskie put all of us Buckeyes fans in one group like he did in his earlier post when he said Buckeye fans make excuses when the Bucks lose. I think Brasky was one that put us all in one group as well when he mentioned Herbie moving out of Ohio because of the "Smoke's of the world."

I guess putting ALL O$U fans in the same category is wrong. But I put ALL the O$U fans I work with in the same category!!!! They're all arrogant, ignorant, and assholes when it comes to O$U!!!!

Can't wait to hear what these assholes have to say on Monday!!!! It's going to be real entertaining!!!!! Stay tuned!!!

I'm starting to get a really bad feeling about all this mess. I didn't think Tressel would lose his job when this shit first broke a couple weeks back. But now that they just keep uncovering more and more secrets/lies, I'm really starting to think it's possible he gets shit-canned. Either that or the NCAA will come down hard on the program. Deservingly so.

I don't think that the University should get punished that hard if at all. Even though I think that what the players did isn't that bad, did they break a rule? Yes. Should they get punished for it? Yes. But ALL coaches need to be held to a high standard, and punishments should be harsh for coaches that break rules.

As far as Meyer. I don't know if that's an upgrade. He was doing some shady stuff at Florida before he left.

This is interesting because that's where lack of institutional control comes in. It's not the university that is being punished, it's the football program.

Covering up violations is done to maintain or gain an edge competitively. So cheating.

The program should suffer a consequence or two IMO. Take away post season play for 2 years and take away some scholarships.

This ^^^ cannot be said enough. I'm sick and tired of how it's become vogue to argue how violation(s) "shouldn't punish the kids" or "is the coaches fault". It's about the athletics department(s) taking responsibility for their programs and making sure rules are being followed IMO.

I just worry that rules will continue to be flaunted unless the NCAA decides the death penalty is not dead. I just don't see them having the stones to give anyone the SMU treatment. I'm not saying Ohio State deserves anything of the kind, mind you, but I'm looking in the direction of the likes of USC, Auburn and others who seem to regularly have violations.

Why worry about it..?

Ohio State will be fine no matter who they plug into the program. May have a few hard years but they would get back...

Not what a true fan would want, but fans don't control what happens inside a program (regardless) of how bad they may want this or that.

They (fans) may cause the press to react more, but what is or will happen in the institutions process will be affected very little by fans.

It's just a fact that the NCAA doesn't tolerate lies. And in this case I think the cover up is worse than the crime. One of my main concerns is that the NCAA will vacate their wins from last season. I don't know if they really will, but you never know.

Sorry smoke but I think they might be throwing the book at them. With their growing rep as being too soft, it' probably gonna be rough.

I think most people agree that we could care less about selling stuff, it's the cover up that is going to kill him. And then he continues to lie? :yield:
