FOX's Jay Glazer reports the Texans still believe Deshaun Watson is "going to end up wanting to play for them this year," and that they are not returning calls to teams interested in a trade.​

Glazer terms the situation a "standstill." Alrighty then. There has been an internet furor in recent days that the Eagles were close to acquiring Watson, but Glazer is as plugged in as any reporter in the league. He certainly does not seem to believe a move is imminent. It remains surreal that the Watson narrative has somehow shifted back to his trade status from his legal situation. He remains under investigation by both the Houston Police Department and NFL, while he has not settled any of his civil claims. We would not expect any movement on his 2021 status in the near future.

Don't see him being traded and he isn't playing until his legal situations is resolved and even then he may be suspended

Do not touch him with a ten foot pole. Allegations keep coming. Even if he comes out roses, this won’t go away for a couple of years. In that time, do you think he is going to be perfecting his craft? Will his mind be on football?

I really hope the eagles trade for watson. Besides the obvious (loss of draft picks and talented players, Watson’s legal troubles, NFL investigation, etc.) the damage it would do to the eagles as a team would be enjoyable to watch.

Trade away Wentz to make Hurts the unquestioned starter only to trade away whay you got for Wentz plus others to undermine your qb? Brilliant!

Ability to upgrade a bad wr corps, te corps, or rb group? Hindered!

DLine getting older? Oline mediocre at best right now? Fantasic!

i dont see anything happening until his legal troubles are dealt with . it would have to be a situation that he can at least claim to be cleared and innocent .

paying his way out of it doesnt mean he is guilty but i would question it always . other people would as well

Again the Texans should have moved him ASAP, i honestly don't understand playing hardball when you're a billionaire.
Texans "could have" gotten a TON for him.
Now they'll get much less, like we did for Trent Williams.
