I think there's going to be a groundswell against Alabama this weekend...

Everyone sees the truth, and its BS if Bama gets in again. If we had a 16 team playoff, and Alabama worked their way back into the title game (wouldn't surprise me if they did), then I think more people would have respect for the situation...

But that's not what's happening here...instead, they're slipping in despite losing their big game, and without having to play their conference championship game

I think someone is going to pass them up this weekend...wouldn't surprise me if both Virginia Tech and Oklahoma State move up with wins while Alabama sits at home

I am not understanding ... the BCS Championship is suppose to be between the two best college teams. If those two teams happen to be in the same conference and the same division, should that disqualify the second best team? When you add in the fact the Alabama lost to LSU 9-6 in overtime, it enhances their case. Personally, I think that Michigan should be in the BCS bowl, but the rest of the intelligent world disagrees with me.

No, it does not. You are arguing that a LOSS is more important than other teams with the same record that have WON their division and conference.

I'm sorry, you don't get more credit for losing at home and winning nothing of substance, than other teams who have more skins on the wall.

Bama being the second best team in the nation is an OPINION. It is not backed by a quality resume, it is not backed by winning a division, it is not backed by winning a conference. Bama has no real argument to be in this game other than "we THINK we're the second best team, you should just ignore all those other conference Champs because we look better and barely lost"
