Both Steven and Marc are passive identities right now. And there are AT LEAST 2 additional identities (whomever is “driving” and the identity in the other sarcophagus that Steven saw). Everyone else that Marc met was just a figment of his imagination, except Taweret.

This episode was way to cartoonish for my tastes. Let’s see what they do with the finale.

I had concerns from first seeing the trailer about the show dwelling into his madness.
With one more episode I'll assume they're going to leave the viewing audience hanging

Yup. And almost zero chance we see Castle or Jon Snow show up in the finale at this point. Very disappointing.

It is enjoyable though. And I think the twist has been a successful one so far. The finale could screw it all up if they don't land it though

Meh on the “twist”. This is in the MCU. The existence of the MoonKnight is not just in Mark’s head.


But they have to pay off at least the 3rd identity, right? They have been STRONGLY hinting at it all season. They have to pay it off during this season.

As I mentioned earlier, though, not having a Berenthal or Jon Snow cameo will hurt the overall product. But Puny would not fit in the feel of this season. Way to mystical and way too cartoonish for the MCU Punisher to fit in properly. And Black Knight is likely being kept under wraps until the Blade movie.

I am keeping an open mind until next week, but right now I am putting this show in the class of F&WS, not Hawkeye.

but I haven’t been a huge fan of where the show has taken me to this point. So I am putting expectations in place for I think the show CAN save itself (in my eyes).

I was not a fan of Legion. I bailed on it before it finished. I was so lost watching it, I don’t even know where I bailed. The fact this show is somewhat done in the same tone (somewhat!!!) doesn’t help. The fact that it is deeply steeped in mysticism (which I have never been a fan of, from a narrative POV) doesn’t help. The fact that I came in with next to zero familiarity with the source material doesn’t help.
