Like a human with common sense? Thank you. :hand:

Four Words (proper names actually) for Bruins fans. Marc Savard, Matt Cooke.

About 12 months ago when you were cheering on the Rangers, Cooke ended Savard's season by giving him a concussion. The hit was not penalized and broke no rules according to the NHL. No suspension is meted out. Fans of the Bruins are furious. They are still furious 1 year later.

Two days ago Chara (who is one of my all-time favourite players; just check my avatar) makes an illegal hit that results in Max Pacioretty being concussed and breaking one of his vertebrae. Pacioretty's season, and some are speculating his career, is over. No suspension is meted out. Montreal fans are outraged. You call those fans (actually the whole city, which by the way has it's share of Bruins fans) retarded.

Yup that seem like common sense to me. :L

I personally can see exactly why they are upset. Chara made a play outside of the rules that resulted in a serious injury to the other players. I don't think he meant to do seriously injure Patches, but it was reckless. A lot of NHL players contend that he knew exactly where he was on the ice.

IMO, he should have gotten between 2-4 games.

Hmm, now that you are done talking out of your ass, I shall reply. For one, don't talk of my past as if you know who I am at all whatsoever, for the billionth fucking time I have been cheering for the Bruins for a long time. With that said I am fully aware of the intentional hit to the head Cooke put on Savvy. I am also aware that there are fans of the Bruins in Montreal. I am also aware that I am generalizing and making fun of the city for crying out to have an investigation opened up. They have every reason to be upset... They lost a player, to an unfortunate event that took place. A routine hit that mistakenly took place at the wrong place along the boards. Now whomever those people in Montreal were that were blowing the emergency phone line up are fucking idiots that should be backhanded... Ok, I think I am done here.

Kenny, I apologize if you were just trying to use humor, I'm just sick of being talked to as if I know nothing about hockey because people want to believe I am some bandwagon fan nonsense. So again, wasn't trying to snap at you, I am a true hockey fan and fully aware of past events...

Sigh. I'm talking out of my ass? I'm the one making blanket statements about 3 million people? It was a QUEBEC CITY official who initiated the probe.

The second bolded segment is spot on. Your signature, however, is bigoted and stupid. Now if it's in jest fine, but judging from your comments it is not. Have a good one.

:tea:

that's not steam from tea, that's fumes from the chloroform.

:painkiller:

We have that in my lab. We don't know what to do with it.

In all sincerity, it's a great solvent and works for almost everything, doesn't show up in analytical tests (or has a really obvious peak that you can ignore), and it really useful in an organic or NMR lab, but my lab is neither, and none of us know why it's there.

At this point, with the police being involved and Air Canada threatening to remove their name and business from the NHL, Chara might have been better off getting at least one game from this awful situation.

Boston fans may disagree, for which I can understand... NHL fans may also disagree with my opinion... but for everyone involved, including Chara, the NHL would have avoided this type of backlash and PR mess had they just put at least a game suspension on Z.
