wait until the stretch of games from from Jan 25th thru april 1st if your disappointed now.

Yes, that is a tough stretch of the season, but at least most of those games are at home. While the end result of this road trip was disappointment, I think you could easily argue that it will have been our toughest stretch of road games all season long. There's only one other trip that is as long and it includes the two worst western conference teams.

We need to at least keep winning games on our home ice and that starts tonight.

i want to see a shakeup of giroux/voracek/hartnell at 5 on 5

i wanna see simmonds, voracek, and schenn. and i wanna see giroux, raffl, and hartnell. the latter isn't fantastic, but i want a shake up and i wouldn't touch the 3rd line.

4 of the next 6 games before xmas are at home and the travel is very easy(a train ride to DC and a short flight to Columbus) - they need to rack up a lot of points in these six games before Christmas - don't be fooled by that trip after Christmas, it's going to be very tough regardless

We should beat Edmonton, Calgary and NJ...even on the road. That'd be 6 out of 12 points minimum and we only got 5 out of 12 from this last trip. It's mostly because Minnesota and Chicago are probably 2 of the 4 or 5 best teams in the Nhl at home. I thought we were able to hang with the big boys for a little while before finally being overwhelmed. No excuse for the losses at Ottawa and Dallas.

Those games I didn't like - that's where the bad habits started to creep up again - a lot of 2 on 1's against and then it finally came back to bite them last night

Need to be much better defensively, can't allow 2 on 1's the other way like they have lately - I'd also like to see more puck possession

Emelin should have gotten a penalty there - his elbow went up as he hit Steve Downie
