Yeah, normally you worry about a player with such a high BABIP. Like Avi Garcia in his last year with us. That just wasn't sustainable... But when Moncada puts the ball in play, it tends to be really good contact. So, it's not totally shocking. When it's gone on for this long, there is probably more to it than luck.

I don't know why Moncada gets the shift defense when he bats left - he has shown he can go to the opposite field.

A unique talent and as a fan he is one of my favorites. Plays top grade defense - really is actually an effective switch hitter - has power and generally keeps his mouth shut.
