I don't think he cares about ND or L, or even W's. He cares about the team winning, so it is still sad that he now knows the team has very little chance of winning this game even if he pitches perfect the rest of the way.

i don't even care about w/l and nd numbers for pitchers. they're pretty much meaningless.

unfortunately, a lot of voters for the cy young award do. it could be a deciding factor if felix is pretty much even with a couple of other pitchers in saber stats.

hitting at the bottom of the order gives the opportunity to see a lot more over the plate.

i still have little faith in ackley, but always hope that he'll prove me wrong.
