Have u watched Treadwell? It has nothing to do with Kiper. When I think top 5 - I think Julio. When I watch Treadwell- I think Alshon Jeffrey at best/ A better version of Terrance Williams

Its all about just killing time to me

But the boys need way more picks than they have and will need to be very active in the non drafted players as usual for various reasons lots of good players that could help go undrafted

Not what I said at all. My point was: is that really going to happen on draft day? If someone in a meaningless mock draft trades you his teams #5 overall pick and every other pick he has because he is an Ohio St alum and wants to pick Bosa for #4 does that really give an indication of how our draft may go? Almost every mock here shows us trading. We may, but odds are we won't...

I understand the trades the site offers are VERY unrealistic, but to me it's just for fun to play around with. I doubt any mock we make will be correct.

Correct, Which is exactly why I don't look at them when people post them.

I don't get why people are so hung up on these late picks we gave away. I wish we had them, but how many of those 6th and 7th rounders contribute for us year one lately? Also, won't we get better supplemental picks than we lost? I hope the team doesn't go into the draft hoping to replenish what we gave up as compared to just getting good players

I don't think we're getting any comp picks this year. We will see.

Just looked it up, projections are for 4 picks maybe just 3. Aside from Carter, I didn't think we lost a player thatade a difference. I thought the Hardy signing would offset the loss of Carter.

If you don't read them, why are you questioning them?
Have a :suds: and relax.
Have you seen me go through the list of names on any of these? I looked at one and said I didn't know half the guys and brought up the bizarre picks from a slot perspective as compared to our current draft pick slots. I don't look at them. Honestly I guess I was trying to say without saying and sounding like a dick...Why are people posting them? No problem that people post them, just not sure why is all. Certainly not upset over it:noidea:

After losing Murray? I guess Hardy and Murray offset? We really didn't sign anyone else. lost Harris and??? Can't remember that long ago. I certainly could be wrong

Damn, I forgot about Murray, but I think his performance, or lack there of, also effects the comp picks.

Per scout.Com

here’s the chart of Dallas’ Comp Pick haul:

PLAYER LOST CONTRACT APY ROUND PLAYER SIGNED CONTRACT APY ROUND
Demarco Murray 5 yr/ $42 million $8.4m 4th x Greg Hardy 1 yr/ $9.8m $9.82 3rd

Jermey Parnell 5 yr/ $32 million $6.4m 4th AWARD
Bruce Carter 4 yr/ $17 million $4.25m 6th AWARD
Henry Melton 1 yr/$3.75 million $3.75m 6th AWARD

Justin Durant 3 yr/ $10.8 million $3.6m 6th AWARD

Dwayne Harris 5 yr/ $17.5 million $3.5m 6th x Andrew Gachkar 2 yrs/$5.2m $2.6m 6th

George Selvie 1 yr/ $1.4 million $1.4m 7th x Darren McFadden 2 yr/$3m $1.5m 7th

That gives Dallas an additional four selections in the upcoming draft.

This account for all loses and gains. I just didn't see any value in other than Carter, yes I forgot about Murray, but the Hardy signing is a wash anyway.

I do know comp picks are based on salary and I thought performance of each loss/gain.

For what it's worth I considered a 2nd QB. Gunner Kiel was available in the 4th.
If I followed P'Day and waited I'd be OK with Gunner
A #1, four #2's, two 3's and two #4's.....you must have been trading with Washington
