I was thinking evens and odds. You can only pick a player that started their career (or were born in, if you want to infuse Ducey's idea) in an even (or odd) year. Then, next go around, we switch it.

Really excited to participate in any Draft. Especially if @Mookiemonstah55 is my partner.

Once in a great while we have a partner draft but mostly you will be on your own.

Why no Co-Gm's? That seems kind of lame. There is great fun in debating picks and talking strategy.

Co-GM’s is a little more work bc you have to communicate with your partner plus it gives us less teams in the end. Most guys like drafting their own teams anyway so it works out

I totally get why people don't want a co-gm, it just seems silly to not allow it for the sake of it.

We do have partner drafts every now and again but everyone will have a partner. If you and Mookie wanted to partner up and tag team each other...no one will have a problem. @Nosferatu loves a good tag team lolzz

If you and Mookie wanna draft a team together that's fine but everyone else will typically be drafting their own team.

Ah okay, that makes a bit more sense. We probably communicate at least once a day so it's really a time issue.

That stuff is still done throughout the draft and especially after the draft during the playoffs.

Isn't really a time issue.

And I mean to reach the decision. Its fun to have the convo on who to pick.

Well, we all have that conversation with ourselves but again if you and Mookie wanna be partners that is absolutely fine, we had some people do that when I first started the drafts but then they ended up wanting to draft their own team.

I think we are gonna start using a clock again. If after a text is sent to you, you have two hours to pick if you do not pick in said two hours you will be skipped. For baseball, hockey and football drafts this will not start until we enter round 6. You will not be skipped in the first 5 rounds. For basketball drafts this will start in round 4, you will not be skipped in the first 3 rounds.

So, I was thinking we could do the same type of draft for the NFL.

We could do...

5 pro bowlers 1 never a pro bowler for
1960's
1970's
1980's
1990's

OR

3 pro bowlers 1 never a pro bowler for
1960's
1970's
1980's
1990's
2000's
2010's

I’m down with the 3 pro bowlers per decade and 1 Non per decade

I think we need more than 6 NO PB, Football, they are too easy to hide...

How about

3 Pro bowlers and 1 never(PB or AP)

But you cant have more than 2 5+ PB guys in any decade...
