I think the only one with serious consideration was the one UK proposed where we draft teammates and put together two lineups and 1 can't be a HoFer and I keep changing the years around.

I would be down if you stop changing the damn years, it screwed me in the last draft dammit!

Screwed me, too. In this (upcoming NFL) draft, though, I am just trying to "fix" a "loophole" so as to make the draft go as the OP had planned, or so he says...

I like this draft but not with current players. Being first and being able to take Brady and Moss is a huge advantage.

How about for NFL, we do a 48 man roster, kickers included. The catch is, you take two players per round, but they had to play together at least 16 games. By doing it this way, we would have 48 players in 24 rounds. A couple of stipulations...You can't use the same team twice....You can only pick one HOF player per pick(Example, if I used Joe Montana in my first pick, I could take Dwight Clark but not Jerry Rice to pair him with). 1990-Today for the years, no one drafted before 90.

While I am on a role, there is a way to do this as a continuation, though we would need the same guys to play next time we do NFL, or have someone take over their team. We could do a draft this way, but have it be any player drafted before 1980. We pick our 48 man teams and do the playoff. Then, the next time we do NFL, we keep the same teams and do a 12 round draft (1 per round) of players taken from 1980-1989. The GM that won the Pre 80 draft would pick last, the loser of the play in would have the first pick. After those 12 players are added to our 48, we cut any 12 from out 60 total to make a new 48, and have playoffs. Then we could do the same thing with 90's and 00's.

This idea but but cut it to 32 players and change the years from 70-99 or 70-89...

12 starters on offense
12 starters on defense
6 bench players (QB, RB, WR, DL, LB, CB)
1 K
1 P
KR/PR - you will use a player from your already drafted team

Instead of taking 2 players per round you just have to have a teammate of that player within a certain number of rounds.

Round 1 you take Montana....a teammate has to be drafted no later than 3 rounds after??? So by the 4th round
